Pasta al dente for Italophiles, ex pats, and Berliners in the know. A good place for a long table, if you need one. Lunch or dinner.
Rocco Forte’s 146-room property presides grandly over Bebelplatz in the Mitte district and is housed in a 19th-century former bank building. You can even rent suites in the onetime offices of the bank directors with the original mahogany panels intact. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.

Great location near the galleries of Charlottenburg in huge old bourgois apartment. All rooms are different, some are very big. Furnished like at your grandmoms’ and long hallways filled with art posters.
If Marlene Dietrich were reincarnated and living large in Berlin, this is where she would check in. Steps from the Brandenburg Gate, the old-world Adlon is the city's most historic hotel and the choice for politicians and visiting dignitaries. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
Chic, cool and understated, Lux 11 epitomizes Berlin cool, with high-tech amenities and one of the city's most acclaimed sushi restaurants on the premises. It's an apartment hotel, housed in three adjacent whitewashed buildings in happening Mitte, so don't expect round-the-clock pampering. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
If you see ghosts of a Four Seasons, you're not going mad; this property used to be run by the luxe hotel company and some of the decor has stayed the same. Situated on a quiet side street, not far from the Brandenburg Gate, it's cozy rather than imposing. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
