It's such a particular pleasure when someone funny and intelligent and sensitive perfectly describes something you've experienced —- and says it so much much better than you ever could have. Gratifying!
Was it Gabriel Byrne or David Byrne? or were they BOTH there?? that would've really caused a cosmic hum of our collective hip consciousness, no?

I don't think the braver are necessarily younger, but the winners are totally turning up the heat.
I don't know if that's "saying it better", but it's saying it lightly, the accessory turning phrases.

I remember working with a Tibetan retreat center once, as a volunteer, moving office.
One event in particular I will never forget. One of the lamas carried an office desk the size of
a kitchen island up a flight—or was it two flights—of steps. He had an office desk—that size—
strapped on his back. And he walked up the stairs on his own two legs.
I will never forget the sight of that action as long as I live.
