This is a good summation of the New Frontier exhibit at Sundance this year. The New Frontier has become an absolute must destination for my Sundance experiences. It is incredible that through the overwhelming corporate sponsorship and popularity of the festival, that experimental film installations are given repeated attention each year. Another piece which I feel deserves to be to mentioned is A Portrait of Marina Abramovic through the 3D headsets and also was played as a short before the 3D New Frontier feature film by Michel Comte, The Girl from Nagasaki. I appreciate that Sundance showed these artistic films using this technology. Sundance is really highlighting relevant and interactive projects which represent a very current perspective.
